Turkish rebar quotes continue decline amid subdued demand
Turkish long steel producers continue to face weak demand in both domestic and export markets. Although they have further decreased their prices amid unfavourable market conditions, the values are still uncompetitive in the global market.
Turkish mills’ official offer prices stood mostly at around $600-610/tonne fob Turkey actual weight on Thursday. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $610-620/t fob.
