Turkish rebar producers fail to see expected demand
Turkish rebar producers were expecting to see a recovery in demand as of August after Russia’s export taxes came into force. This, however, is yet to materialise. Poor rebar demand coupled with lower scrap prices and high freight is causing rebar prices to continue to decline in both the domestic and export markets.
