Turkish rebar producers decrease export prices
Turkish mills have further lowered their rebar export prices this week, as a result of demand almost coming to a standstill in Turkey’s export destinations.
Although a few mills are still offering rebar at $440/tonne fob actual weight, most mills have decreased their prices to $430/t fob. However, demand is still weak as buyers wait for lower offers following the downward trend in scrap prices.
