Turkish rebar prices increase despite lacklustre sales
Turkish mills have increased their long steel offer prices due to the rises seen in their production costs amid costlier energy and scrap.
Turkish mills’ offers for rebar were seen mostly at $690-720/tonne fob Turkey actual weight on Thursday, up from $690-700/t last week. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, are mostly at $710-740/t fob.
