Turkish rebar rises further amid export, domestic demand
Turkish rebar producers have further increased their rebar prices in both domestic and export markets. Mills’ domestic prices have recorded an $80/tonne rise in a week after one mill increased its quote to $710/tonne ex-works on Thursday.
Rebar export quotes, which stood at $660-680/t fob Turkey a week ago, appeared mostly at $700-710/t fob actual weight on Thursday. However, $710/t fob is also available from some producers.
