Turkish rebar prices fall on pressure
Turkish rebar producers have been forced to decrease their prices in both domestic and export markets due to insufficient demand, which is pressuring quotes.
On Friday, Turkish mills’ export offers were mostly at $665-680/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $695-700/t a week earlier. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $675-690/t fob.
