Turkish rebar prices fall despite costlier production
Despite the rises seen in production costs, Turkish mills have further decreased their rebar quotes in both the domestic and export markets, as a result of weak demand.
Turkish mills’ production costs have increased following the 48% rise in industrial natural gas prices on Monday. This follows a 15% increase in October. Both natural gas and power prices, meanwhile, are expected to further increase in the near term.
