Turkish rebar prices continue to slide

Turkish rebar producers are facing weak demand in both domestic and export markets. Stagnant demand and lower scrap prices are seen increasing pressure on rebar prices. As a result, Turkish mills have been forced to further decrease their quotes. Rebar quotes stood mostly at $615-620/tonne fob actual weight on Thursday.
