Turkey’s June rebar exports surge sequentially, down on-year
Turkish rebar exports continued their long-lasting downward trend in June, falling by 34.4% on-year to 303,252 tonnes. They did, nevertheless, record a significant increase compared to previous months, from 164,300t in April and 199,435t in May.
Average price was $646/tonne, down from $846/t in June 2022 and $673/t in May 2023, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
