Turkish rebar exports start 2021 with drop
Following their surge in November and December, Turkish rebar exports fell in January, by 8.3% on-year to 504,617 tonnes. They were also down from 622,554t in December, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average sales price increased to $494/tonne versus $428.6/t in January 2020. It was also up from $462.6/t in December.
