Turkey’s January rebar exports rise despite Asian loss

Turkish rebar exports rose slightly in January, by 0.2% on-year to 487,580 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were, however, down from 519,323t in December. Average sales price increased to $710.5/tonne versus $495/t in January 2021 and $702/t in December 2021.
