Turkish rebar exports fall with EU, US absent
Turkish rebar exports slumped in July, following their significant June surge. They decreased -15.3% on-year to 418,581 tonnes. They were also down from 482,013t in June, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average sales price dropped to $411.5/tonne versus $467.7/t in July 2019 and $406/t in June 2020.
Israel, a traditional market for Turkish rebar exports, was the largest destination, with 86,676t of intake in July…
