Turkish rebar exports fall despite Hong Kong surge
Turkish rebar exports fell for the fourth consecutive month in October, by -14.3% on-year to 506,635 tonnes. They were, however, up from 338,402t and 477,118t in August and September respectively, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average sales price increased to $440/tonne versus $430/t in October 2019. It was also up from $420/t and $425/t in August and September 2020 respectively.
