Americas demand fuels Turkish rebar export growth
Turkish rebar exports continued their rise in July, growing by 39.6% on-year to 575,504 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were, however, down from 682,930t in May and 675,355t in June.
Average sales price increased to $677/tonne versus $412/t in July 2020 and $636/t in June 2021.
