Turkish rebar exports continue decline into new year
Turkish rebar exports continued their downward trend into the new year. They fell by 36.8% on-year to 306,762 tonnes in January. They were, nevertheless, up from 265,755t in November and 267,532t in December, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
Their average price was $655/tonne, down from $712/t in January 2022 and $694/t in December 2022.
