Turkish rebar exporters remain bullish despite weaker demand
Turkish mills are yet to see an improvement in rebar demand, either in the export or domestic markets. They, however, remain bullish for the market after July, when Russia imposes its steel export tax.
There are still some mills offering material for August shipment at lower prices. But those that are more fully utilised and can only offer September-shipment material are trying to hold their prices at above $740/tonne fob actual weight.
