Turkish rebar exports remain subdued, billet demand surges
Export demand for Turkish rebar remains subdued this week amid uncertainty in the global market arising from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Turkish mills, however, have kept their official offer prices unchanged from last week at above $750/tonne fob Turkey actual weight. However, no sales have been confirmed yet at above $750. “Workable levels are no higher than $740-745/t fob,” says a Turkish trader.
