Turkish rebar export sales struggle on low bids
Turkish rebar producers are observing a slight increase in price inquiries in export markets this week. Price expectations of buyers, however, are yet to reach offer levels, with bids at $20-25/tonne lower.
Turkish mills have increased their quotes from $390-395/t fob Turkey, following last week’s scrap price rebound. Mills’ current rebar export offers are pegged mostly at $400-410/t fob actual weight.
