Turkey's global rebar buyers expect lower prices
With demand for Turkish rebar continuing to remain slow in the global market, pressure on prices is increasing, Kallanish notes.
Weakening Chinese domestic rebar prices are causing Asian buyers to halt their purchases. Although there are reasonably priced Indian offers in Hong Kong, buyers show no interest. Inventory levels in Singapore are heard to be at high levels following the long-lasting lockdown there.
