Turkish rebar/scrap prices fall further on fresh bookings
Rebar and scrap prices have declined further in Turkey, mainly due to low demand.
Turkish rebar export quotes, which stood at $450-455/tonne fob Turkey a week ago, appear mostly at $445-450/t fob actual weight this week.
A Turkish mill is said to have sold at $435/t fob actual weight to West Africa, although this is yet to be confirmed. Two traders have bought from a mill in western Turkey at $440/t.
