Coronavirus, scrap slump crimp Turkish rebar demand
With scrap prices continuing to decrease and demand for rebar stagnant, Turkish mills have further reduced their prices in both the domestic and export markets this week.
Turkish rebar export prices, which stood at $430-440/tonne fob Turkey last week, have decreased to $420-425/t fob actual weight this week. Even price offers at $415/t fob are available from some rebar producers.
