Turkish producers challenge US rebar duty rates
Turkish producers Icdas and Kaptan have challenged US duty rates on imports of rebar from Turkey, Kallanish learns from the US Court of International Trade (CIT).
According to a complaint filed with the CIT, the producers argue that the US duty orders on Turkish rebar are unlawful as the methodology failed to account for hyperinflation in Turkey during the US Department of Commerce's period of review from 1 July 2018 through 30 June 2019.
