Turkish pipe quotes soar $100 amid costlier production
Turkish pipe producers have hiked quotes by a whopping $100/tonne this week due to the rises seen in energy and hot rolled coil prices.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade HRC were seen on Thursday mostly at $750-800/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight. Higher and lower prices are however also available from some producers. These are up from $640-660/t last week.
A slight improvement in demand is being observed …
