Turkish pipe producers further lower export prices
Ongoing low demand and high competition in the global market has forced Turkish pipe producers to lower their price quotations further this week.
Turkish pipe producers’ export prices, which stood at $490-510/tonne fob Turkey a week ago, are observed to have fallen below $500/t fob this week. While there are a few producers trying to hold their offers at above $500/t, most producers have dropped below $500/t fob, Kallanish observes.
