Turkish pipe producers forced to further reduce offers
Due to the low level of demand and increasing price pressure from their customers, Turkish mills are squeezed between hot rolled coil purchase prices and pipe sales prices.
Turkish pipe producers’ export offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade HRC have decreased to $515-525/tonne fob theoretical weight from $530-540/t last week. However, offers at below $515/t fob are still available from some suppliers.
