Turkish pipe producers fail to see expected demand
Turkish pipe producers have kept their offer prices mostly at last week’s levels amid demand remaining subdued, notes Kallanish.
Pipemakers’ official offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $660-700/tonne ex-works theoretical weight. However, amid unsatisfactory demand, some mills seem ready to negotiate lower prices if they receive inquiries for satisfactory tonnages.
