Turkish pipe exports surge in February
Turkish welded pipe exports, which declined in January, surged by 45% on-year in February to 197,705 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also a sharp increase from 105,034t in January.
The average value of February exports rose to $1,199/tonne from $751/t in February 2021 and $1,174/t in January.
