EU drives Turkish pipe export surge in March
Turkish welded pipe exports, which recovered in February, surged 63% on-year to 196,700 tonnes in March, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also up from 144,236t in February.
The average value of March exports, however, decreased to $756.6/tonne from $770/t in March 2020, but increased from $743.5/t in February 2021.
