Turkey’s July pipe exports slump on EU absence
Turkish welded pipe exports, which have been steadily rising for a while, almost halved on-year in July to 93,742 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also a sharp fall from 203,270t in June.
The average value of July exports, however, rose to $1,112/tonne from $609/t in July 2020 and $949/t in June 2021.
