Turkish mills slow scrap purchases
Turkish mills are seen to have slowed scrap purchases towards the end of last week.
Although there were numerous imported scrap bookings during the first half of the week, a single deep-sea booking was heard after Thursday. A western Turkish mill bought EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $367/tonne cfr Turkey. The cargo was initially offered at $371/t cfr.
