Turkish mills’ scrap purchases slow following spree

Turkish mills slowed scrap purchases in the second half of last week. Late on Thursday a scrap booking from the Baltic was heard at $439/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $454/t cfr for bonus grade. On Friday, a St. Petersburg-origin cargo sale was heard at $430/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $445/t cfr for bonus grade.
