Turkish mills’ scrap demand weakens, prices under pressure
Turkish mills are seen showing weak interest in scrap purchases following numerous deals since the beginning of the year.
With no improvement seen in rebar sales, Turkish mills are halting scrap purchases to observe Turkey’s Central Bank’s loan rate decision on Thursday and its impact on domestic rebar demand.
