Turkish mills further reduce domestic scrap buying prices

Turkish mills have continued lowering their scrap purchasing prices for the domestic market as import scrap prices declined further, Kallanish notes. Integrated flat steelmaker Erdemir has reduced its domestic auto-bundle (DKP) scrap buying price by TRY 40/tonne on-week to TRY 980/t ($270/t) as from 28 March.
