Turkish mills reduce domestic scrap buying prices
Most Turkish mills have reduced their domestic scrap purchasing prices this week, in line with the downtrend in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
Scrap-based long steelmaker Kroman Celik has cut its domestic auto-bundle (DKP) buying price by TRY 20/tonne on-week to TRY 1,250/t ($335/t), effective 26 January, according to an update by the company.
