Turkish mills raise rebar following small scrap uptick
Turkish mills have increased rebar export offers to test market interest following the US-origin scrap deal late last week that saw prices rebound slightly.
After days of inactivity last week owing to holidays in Turkey the scrap deal was reported booked at an average $314/tonne cfr Turkey for 18,000 tonnes of shredded, 15,000t of HMS 1&2 95:5 and 2,000t P&S.
