Turkish mills raise domestic scrap prices
Turkish mills have continued raising domestic scrap buying prices this week, while the increasing trend in scrap import prices has stalled, Kallanish notes.
Scrap-based long and flat steelmaker Colakoglu Metalurji has raised its auto-bundle (DKP) purchasing price to TRY 1,030/tonne ($288/t), effective 14 July, up TRY 50/t from TRY 980/t set on 11 July.
