Turkish mills raise domestic, export HRC prices
Turkish mills have increased their hot-rolled coil offer prices for the domestic and export markets this week, reflecting mainly the global upward trend in HRC prices, market participants tell Kallanish.
Local producers started the week with a $10/tonne on-week rise in ex-works HRC offers to $510-520/t. Later in the week, asking prices have increased by another $10-20/t to $530-540/t ex-works for September delivery, sources inform.
