Turkish mills’ long steel quotes rise, scrap gains
Turkish wire rod producers are seen offering higher prices in the global market amid greater utilisation, strong demand and higher raw material costs. Some producers are even seen to have halted their offers due to high utilisation.
Turkish rod producers’ export offer quotes stand mostly at $595-615/tonne fob on 27 November. It is seen that price difference between producers, which have risen up to $20-25/t, are due to mills’ varying utilisation period…
