Turkish mills increase rod export prices
As a result of higher scrap prices that have increased Turkish mills’ production costs, Turkish mills are seen to have increased their wire rod prices.
Turkish mills’ quotes for mesh quality wire rod, which stood at $450-455/tonne fob last week, now appear mostly at $460-470/t fob. However, lower offers at $455/t and higher quotes at $480/t are also available from some mills.
