Turkish mills continue to book imported scrap cargoes
Turkish mills’ demand for imported scrap is seen continuing, with further bookings heard in the market on Thursday.
Following the EU-origin booking heard on Wednesday, another EU-origin cargo has been booked by a long steel mill in southern Turkey at average $442/tonne cfr Turkey, for November shipment. The cargo comprises 25,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20, 10,000t of bonus grade and 5,000t of shredded.
