Turkish mills book more imported scrap cargoes

Having increased their scrap demand this week, Turkish mills have concluded further scrap bookings from the EU and Baltic, Kallanish notes. A mill in the İskenderun region bought a cargo from Russia at $260/tonne cfr Turkey for 17,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 95:5.
