Turkish mills book more imported scrap cargoes
Having increased their scrap demand this week, Turkish mills have concluded further scrap bookings from the EU and Baltic, Kallanish notes.
A mill in the İskenderun region bought a cargo from Russia at $260/tonne cfr Turkey for 17,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 95:5.
Another mill in the İskenderun region bought a scrap cargo from Poland that consists of HMS 80:20 and bonus at $247/t and $257/t cfr respectively.
