Scrap prices collapse as Turks return to market
Turkish mills have returned to the scrap market with the conclusion late last week of some deep-sea and short-sea scrap purchases. They are not yet aggressive with their deal-making, but are observed to be inquiring about scrap suppliers’ positions and price ideas.
