Turkish merchant bar struggles for stability amid pressure
Turkish merchant bar producers are seen struggling to maintain their prices. Although they kept their official offer prices unchanged from the previous week, some were observed to be more flexible in their discount strategies on Friday.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $660-670/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections.
