Turkish merchant bar quotes stabilise, demand weak
Turkish merchant bar producers are keeping their export quotes unchanged as raw material prices remained firm.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $630-640/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $640-650/t for IPN-UPN sections, $650-660/t for flat bars, and $640-650/t for IPE sections, Kallanish notes.
Demand, however, remains quite weak as buyers found Turkey’s offer levels high.
