Turkish merchant bar quotes soften on weaker demand
Turkish merchant bar producers have decreased their export prices by $10-15/tonne due to weaker demand and lower raw materials prices.
On Friday, Turkish producers’ quotes stood mostly at $680-695/t fob Turkey for angles, $685-705/t for IPN-UPN sections, $695-715/t for flat bars, and $685-705/t for IPE sections.
Despite the decrease in prices, however, demand last week was lower compared to previous weeks amid the continuing decline in raw materials prices.…
