Turkish merchant bar quotes slide, demand unsatisfactory
Turkish merchant bar producers are seen to have decreased their prices slightly last week to come closer to the expectations of buyers, albeit limited in number.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $625-635/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $635-645/t for IPN-UPN sections, $645-655/t for flat bars, and $635-645/t for IPE sections, down $5/t on-week, Kallanish notes.
