Turkish merchant bar quotes rise amid costlier feedstock
Turkish merchant bar producers have further increased their quotes due to the continuing rise in raw materials prices.
Most producers are seen offering at $800-820/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $810-830/t for IPN-UPN sections, $820-840/t for flat bars, and $810-830/t for IPE sections.
Although there were numerous sales at below $800/t fob for angles at the beginning of last week, most producers were seen resisting to sell at below $800/t fob on Friday.
