Turkish merchant bar quotes rise despite weak demand
Turkish merchant bar producers have increased their export offer prices due to the recent rises seen in raw material prices.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $600-620/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $610-630/t for IPN-UPN sections, $620-640/t for flat bars, and $610-630/t for IPE sections. Angles prices were up from $585-615/t fob a week earlier.
