Turkish merchant bar rises amid costlier raw materials
Turkish merchant bar producers increased their export quotes last week due to the recent rises seen in scrap prices.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $620-630/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $630-640/t for IPN-UPN sections, $640-650/t for flat bars, and $630-640/t for IPE sections, Kallanish notes.
