Turkish merchant bar remains stable despite costlier feedstock
Turkish merchant bar producers are keeping their prices mostly stable on-week, although some are trying to reflect raw material price rises in their quotes.
On Friday, most producers’ export quotes were pegged at $730-740/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $740-750/t for IPN-UPN sections, $750-760/t for flat bars, and $740-750/t for IPE sections, unchanged from the prior week. However, some producers are seen to have started offering $750/t for angles.
